Monotheistic ideas vastly spread by the Abrhamic inspired religions established greater organization and unity between peoples. What once was local tribes with spirtualistic practices with there own culture and beliefs became a collective. To be part of something larger than your small family and community. In the Creating God podcast, they talk about how religion brought order with it’s teachings and ideas. It connected nations and help keep peace. As well as establishing trade lines between the people.

And as these religions expanded worldwide, they soon found themselves sharing borders and nations with one another. This caused conflict and made things such as trade and peace harder. Though they essentially share the same origins, it isn’t the same ‘God’. Instead of a unifier, it became and Us v. Them mentality. In a time where they began spreading these ideas for order, in the end, it began sewing more chaos.

The idea when the religions first began were to help establish a common belief among people. Have more order and structure. But as cultures and religion combined, the beliefs changed to fit there own narrative. And what once was considered a unifer, became a divider. And as history went on, it became a conquerer. Subjagation of other peoples to force them to believe the Abrahamic beliefs. They did it to save souls, and yet only caused destruction of cultures and people.
